Do Narcissists Have a Soul?

The other day, I found myself Googling whether narcissistic people have a soul. You’d think that in today’s overly informative world, there’d be plenty of material on this, right? Wrong. To my shock, I found almost nothing. So here I am, writing my own take on it.

I used to believe everyone’s higher self came from a higher place—high vibrations, higher consciousness, all that good stuff. If someone wasn’t a good person by earthly standards, I figured they just weren’t connected enough to their higher self. But is that really true?

If narcissists have a soul, where does it come from? Are their higher selves as selfish as they are? Are they somehow more telepathic than others?

Let me share two true accounts from my personal life. These aren’t hypothetical; they actually happened and showcase how narcissists can create eerie, almost supernatural disruptions.

The Narcissistic Father: Telepathic Spoiler

My friend has a narcissistic father who sees his children as mere extensions of himself and part of his narcissistic supply. With some wealth he’s accumulated, he believes the world revolves around him. A textbook narcissist, right? But here’s where it gets weird.

Whenever one of his kids dares to have a good time without him, his higher self seems to intervene in a way that’s… let’s just say, highly strategic. For example, my friend planned an exciting 10-day trip to Spain last summer but didn’t tell him—because who would tell a narcissist they’re about to have fun without them? But here’s the kicker: the same day she landed in the fun land, he went from being ultra-healthy to gravely ill. We’re talking ICU-level sick, needing breathing assistance and all that—almost dying.

She ended up canceling her plans, wasting a ton of money, and flying back to check on him in case she had to say her last goodbye. And guess what? He miraculously recovered shortly after she arrived. On a conscious level, he had no idea she was even on a trip. But somehow, his higher self—or something else—picked up on it and created this perfectly timed crisis to ruin her fun.

How is that even possible? Is his higher self just as selfish as he is? Or is there some other force at work, helping him sabotage others? And this isn’t a one-off coincidence.

The Narcissistic Mother: The Birthday Miracle

Here’s another story: my narcissistic mother, who never remembers my birthday. And I mean never. But this year, something different happened.

A month before my birthday, I bought myself a luxurious Saint Laurent purse as a little indulgence. Blue denim with a gold plate logo and gold chains, perfect for every occasion. It was so beautiful I didn’t even want to take it out of the box to risk ruining it. As it sat in my drawer, I had a fleeting thought. I told myself: If my mom remembers my birthday this year—which is highly unlikely—I’ll give her the purse as a gift.

Fast forward to the big day. Normally, my mom doesn’t call, or worse, she calls crying about her problems, completely oblivious that it’s my birthday. So when I saw her voicemail, I braced myself for the worst. But to my shock, she wished me a happy birthday. Nicely, even! She told me to have fun, be cautious, the whole nine yards.

I was stunned. After 40 years —yeah, I’m already in my 40s—she suddenly remembered my birthday? And why? Because of the purse? It felt like her higher self somehow picked up on the “deal” I’d made with myself. But again, is her higher self as self-serving as she is, or is something else pulling the strings?

The Higher Self: Not So High After All?

When I was practicing as a psychic medium, I learned that the higher self is the superconscious part of a person. It exists in higher planes and serves as a guiding force for the soul during its earthly journey. Even after working with over 1,000 clients in psychic readings, mediumship, and healing sessions, I’ve rarely encountered anything that made me question the “high” part of the higher self—until now.

So, what’s really going on? Do narcissists have a higher self at all? If they do, is it functioning at a higher vibration, or is it stuck in the same low-level patterns they are?

What My Spirit Team Told Me

When in doubt, my spirit team is my go-to! My spirit team—the spiritual beings who work with me—has shed some light on this. According to them, narcissists do have a soul and a higher self. But over time, the voice of their higher self becomes so faint that it’s almost inaudible, like it’s completely disconnected. Lower-level entities, which feed off ego and chaos, latch onto the narcissist, amplifying their selfishness and creating a sort of toxic “teamwork” between the narcissist’s lower soul and these entities, which are highly telepathic and know exactly how to manipulate earthly circumstances.

On the surface, the narcissist often doesn’t realize they’re being influenced. They believe their actions are entirely their own, but in reality, they’re often driven by a combination of their wounded soul and external forces. This may explain why their timing feels telepathic—it’s not just them but the lower-level entities working in sync to serve their ego-driven desires.

Food for Thought

So, do narcissists have a soul? Yes, but their higher self isn’t always running the show. Their soul gets overshadowed by lower-vibration influences, which hijack their telepathic abilities for selfish, destructive purposes.

It’s fascinating, isn’t it? Oh, and by the way, where did my luxurious purse end up? It found a more suitable owner to flaunt its luxury.

If you’ve had similar experiences with narcissists or have a different perspective, drop me a line. I’d love to hear your thoughts.
