Can My Loved One in Spirit Tell Me Who I’ll Date Next?

This is a question I get more often than I can count:

“Can you ask my grandma in Spirit who I’m going to date next?”

Yep — future boyfriends, soulmates, marriage timelines.
People often assume their loved ones in Spirit become full-time relationship psychics the moment they cross over.

Let me pause you right there.

Before I even bring that question into a session, I’ll usually say — gently, but clearly:

“Would you like me to ask your spirit guides instead?”

Here’s why.

Just because someone has passed doesn’t mean they’ve instantly unlocked the secrets of the universe. They didn’t suddenly become all-knowing. They’re not sitting up there with a crystal ball and your Tinder algorithm.

Your grandma may absolutely love you from the other side.
But asking her who you’ll end up with? That’s like asking your living grandma. She might say something like:

“I don’t know, sweetie… maybe someone tall? Why don’t you invite them over when you find one.”

Even in spirit, our loved ones are still growing.
They can send comfort, signs, and healing — but unless one of them is now functioning as a spirit guide (rare, but not impossible), predicting your romantic future isn’t really their department.

That’s where your spirit guides come in.

They’re here to help you navigate your path — love, purpose, growth, and everything in between. They’re trained for this (yes, trained), and they’re tuned into your soul’s blueprint in a way most passed loved ones simply aren’t.

So the next time you book a session with a medium, ask yourself:

Am I asking the right spirit for the job?
Is this question meant for someone who can actually help me with it?

It’s not about being cold — it’s about being clear.

Spirits have different roles, just like people do.
So make your session count. Ask the right questions to the right beings.

And no — your grandpa doesn’t know when your future husband is showing up.
But your guides just might.

Till next time
